This morning when I didn't necessarily feel much like getting out of bed to run, I got ready anyway and powered through 8 miles. Just thinking of all of the kids fighting everyday, surrounded by their families and loved ones really makes you think of what is important and what in life is actually difficult. If running 100 miles is tough than Malia and many children who went through similar struggles have run the equivalent of 100,000 miles.
I run to celebrate health. To raise awareness about the heroes the world only knew for a fleeting moment and those who fight on, inspiring others to live life to the fullest. I want to leave the world a little better than the way I found it. Malia has already accomplished this at the ripe old age of 4.
Donate to her cause and let's all raise awareness about Neuroblastoma!
