On January 12th, 2013 I will be running 100 miles to raise money for a young girl Malia, battling Stage IV Neuroblastoma. The cost of medical treatment for this disease is oftentimes not covered by insurance and can exceed $100,000.
I will be running eleven nine mile loops (two loops will be extended 9.5 mile loops) from my house in La Jolla, through La Jolla Cove, down to Bird Rock and back. It would be wonderful to have anyone join me for as long as they would like to run. The route is shown below highlighted in red on the map. There is plenty of time for everyone to run if you begin training soon!
